Preliminary Task: Double Spread Page Analysis

Here I am, explaining the Double Page Spread of my preliminary task. Remember this Preliminary task is just a rough draft for the Magazine Task of this Course. So let's dive right into it. My Double Page Spread included 2 images of the camera shot known as a wide shot, which captures most of the background to determine a location and as well include a variety of characters in the shot. The only struggle I really went through in this part was how I would lay the pictures out. As you could tell, I layed them out by putting one in each corner having them connect diagonally. After that I'd say this was the easiest part between the 3 preliminary tasks that I did. I put graphics that are gym related to make it look decorative and look appealing as well. I am finally and once and for all done with the Preliminary Blogs, and It has been long work honestly, but I learned a lot of elements and how to use them and practiced more on Canva more than ever with actually creating the pages a...

Preliminary Task: Table of Contents Analysis

Jumping right into the analysis of my table of contents, here is the editing and further explanation on it's details. Starting this elaboration off, the layout of this table of contents was one I wanted to follow with a greyish background matching the character's clothing as well as going well together with the cover page. The cover page was a very similar color due to the fact the images of my friend Daniel working out was at the same place near the same time in the same day. The struggles I had with the layout were how to put the images and whether if i should leave it full or maybe put it in another shape as you see the difference between the circle and rectangle. Aligning the numbers with the section topic was also a struggle because I wanted it to look appealing and right & as well as for coming up with section topic ideas.  The Images I used were of my friend working out with 2 different angles of the same workout which is called the Lat Pulldown. The Sizes of the ...

Preliminary Task: Cover Page Analysis

Hello! As I mentioned in my previous blog towards the end, I'll be explaining what is on my cover page and further details describing it. So as you could see there are many components in my cover page that are visibly explained as I edited using Canva. The Struggles I went through taking this picture was definitely the angle.  I wanted the main image to be a powerful strong character that would inspire people and inflict any interest in them. The best Angle for that was a low angle shot to make the character look more dominant. I also wanted to catch the characters muscles in another way of expressing strength through this image. The only struggle I had laying the page out was just the other texts that I wanted it to look aesthetically good. My friend Daniel was my key help and the character in this magazine as well as throughout it. The character in this image is doing a workout called a "Bent-over row" which is basically when you bend over and start rowing towards you...
