Survey Results 2







Continuing on with the previous blog, these are the remaining  6 responses to my survey.

Question 6

I asked this question so I can see what types of mobile games were favorited the most.  The highest voted option was mobile games that involved shooting. Tied for second place were mobile games that involved strategy and adventures. 

Question 7
This question holds significant importance because gathering incite on there opinion on what color scheme would fit best for my magazine. There input would be very helpful as it would aid me in creating the best magazine possible and would help me adhere to there opinions as I would want my magazine to be visually appealing for them. Most people liked option 4 which was beige- green- purple (three different shades of purple). I was very content with this result as this was the color scheme I was the most fond of. 

Question 8
This question was asked so that I could get an idea of what gaming Magazines were visually appealing to the audience the most. Option 1, which was the PC gamer magazine, received the most amount of votes. The response to this question helped me develop an idea of what style or format I could use for the cover page of my magazine. 

Question 9
This question was asked so that I could try and get an idea of what kind of VR games people preferred. The response with the most votes, which was 13 votes was Resident Evil.

Question 10
I asked this question because I wanted to gain information from the audience because there responses are contributing to the creation of this magazine, so I wanted to know how much they genuinely enjoyed gaming.  Fourteen out of twenty- one people voted 5 on a 5 point rating, indicating that majority does really enjoy gaming. This was good news because there answers are helping me create my magazine so it's nice to know they enjoy the topic of my magazine in the first place. 

Question 11
This was another short response question. I wanted to know what people would say there favorite video game was without being given any answer choices so I could see there uninfluenced opinions. The video game with the most votes was actually Call of duty, many people voted for different versions of the game but overall this video gaming franchise got the most votes, which wasn't surprising to me at all. Then in 2nd place was Fortnite which had 4 votes, and then in third place was Roblox with two votes. Many people had different responses, but it was nice to get an idea of the type of games they enjoyed. 


And that wraps up my survey results! In the end, all the responses I received were very helpful and are making a nice contribution to the through process behind creating this magazine and for that I am thankful for my peers for providing there views.

Anatomy of Page Design

                           The double-page spread was my big challenge when working on the preliminary task, I didn't understand the concept and how to lay out the important things that the page consisted of. Today's blog? Understanding the anatomy of a page design. Whether it's for print or digital media, page design entails carefully arranging different elements to produce a layout that is both aesthetically pleasing and useful. Heading is important in the next factors of page design layout. The page number, chapter title, and section heading are examples of important information that is usually included in the header. It provides context and facilitates navigation. Apart from headings, there are subheadings. Masthead

  Me and my partner Abeldar worked together to come up with a masthead that was proper and attractive enough to attract a crowd based on just the masthead. this is the masthead that we came up with based on our survey results and what we thought would be the best for a gaming issue magazine covering different topics and forms of gaming.  Our masthead and magazine title will be called GameVerse with sharp edged fonts that will provide uniqueness to our title and give a sense of video gaming like no other, GameVerse is to talk about multiple gaming issues including Arcade and Virtual Reality/Mobile gaming. Although that this is our final masthead title the color of the word Game will be different to our liking.
