House Style


                            As I transition into my magazine and understand the features it needs, I am now starting to see that there are a lot of components that a magazine needs for it to be proper and with that view we will start off with “House Styles”.


What is “House Style”? House Style is the guideline and format that the author/writer should follow for the same newspaper, magazine, TV and radio station. The House Style is almost everything that makes up the magazine regarding the heading, tone, voice as well as more. It is basically in a way a set of rules you should follow.




Many popular publication companies all follow their same strategic format for example like VOGUE, it will always be the same big vogue title on the top of every and mostly all their magazines. Not just the size of the title but as well as the font that is continually being used represents the House style that Vogue has. The same could be said for more publication companies like “Men’s Health

Masthead

  Me and my partner Abeldar worked together to come up with a masthead that was proper and attractive enough to attract a crowd based on just the masthead. this is the masthead that we came up with based on our survey results and what we thought would be the best for a gaming issue magazine covering different topics and forms of gaming.  Our masthead and magazine title will be called GameVerse with sharp edged fonts that will provide uniqueness to our title and give a sense of video gaming like no other, GameVerse is to talk about multiple gaming issues including Arcade and Virtual Reality/Mobile gaming. Although that this is our final masthead title the color of the word Game will be different to our liking.
